Hi guys.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted.
As you probably remember. My MK2 mr2 is a Lamborghini Murcielago kit car.
Up till December it was a old tired 2 litre turbo.
Since then it has been living up at Rogue Motorsport having a 3.5 litre V6 shoe horned in to it.
Today has been a amazing day as I have just brought her home with the help with some specialised haulage.
I’ve now got to put the panels and grills back ready for the road.
I will comment on the engine conversion abit later but I need help.
My v5 registration document says 2 litre engine and it needs up dating to 3.5 V6.
Is there anybody here who can guide me through the process to get the document sent off for updating?

you need the reg of the engine donor and a letter from rogue saying they did the swap with upgraded engine mounts etc.

yep, copy of letter from Rogue in this case (as was mine), capacity change in V5 box with engine number in V5 box. send to DVLA.
comes up on MOT data base so saves arguments

Yes sorry guy's engine number I sent a copy of the V5 from the donor car and it took about 6 weeks for the V5 to come back .

Ok so let’s do this.
Sorry for me being such a donut but it needs to be right.
Attached is a example v5 found from the internet.

So I fill out the blue section.
Part 20. Wheel plan body type (Leave blank)
Part 21 vin chassis number (Leave blank)
Part 22 new revenue weight (Leave blank)
Part 23 date of change (the invoice date from rogue). Is this correct?
Part 24 cylinder capacity (3500). Is this correct?
Part 25 no of seats (Leave blank)
Part 26 no of standing places (Leave blank)
Part 27 type of fuel (petrol). Is this correct?
Part 28 engine number (the number off the new engine). Is this correct?
Part 29 new colour and date of change (Leave blank).
Part 30 clr (Leave blank)
Part 31 tax class (Leave blank)
Part 32 (Leave blank)

Sign and date it.
Clip a copy of the invoice from rogue Motorsport and send it off to the dvla.

Is all this correct and as simple as that?
Please correct me if I need to change everything.

Looks ok apart from 3500 its probably 3499 or something ! you may need to google that but i doubt it is a straight 3.5 .
