I posted a few weeks back looking for potential purchase advice. Despite the warnings from the more experienced members, I decided to go ahead and buy the car. It's a 1990 model with a blue interior and it's a bit of a rust bucket at the back.
My son and I have bought it as a project to help him learn about all aspects of car repair... and I think this will cover them all!
Within an hour of getting it home, he'd managed to get both headlights moving again, and given it a clean
Next jobs are to get the fuel pump either moving again or replaced (it just clunks when 12v is applied to the plug by the gear lever) and then start taking the bumpers and fairings off so we can see the extent of bodywork it will need... then it's on to brakes, suspension and steering, a bit of electrical fault finding and then it'll be as good as new!
