In a nutshell, the scene is back on the rise As a result, I have decided to put the OC into Japfest 2 at Rockingham Raceway on the 16th August 2015. We have great cars, a great social scene and always put on a great display so why not get out more in the Summer months

Japfest 2 is the second installment of the show just passed at Castle Combe with more of the same. The difference is that there is camping at this event.

The cost for this show is :-

£15 - For the ticket (£13 ticket cost plus £2 Paypal Fees and Postage Costs)
£7.50 - For the weekend Camping extension (£7 for camping plus 50p Paypal Fees)

I'll also need to know how many stand passes are required as this show the tickets are per person and not per car

With the camping, I am sure we can do the usual, communal BBQ, good laugh, the usual crack. It'll be good to have something to fill in August.

Rockingham is a great venue, if you haven't been before its worth a look in!

Due to a general lack of interest and a lack of people putting their hands in their pockets, I have cancelled this event

Maybe next year we can get going with it earlier and get this off the ground

I know bud.... I do think it's a good one to go for in the future though.... That would make one show a month through the summer which isn't too much

Is it worth giving it another couple weeks? The club registration deadline is the 10th July according to the website. To be honest I completely missed this thread, I posted in the other thread expressing interest (http://mr2oc.co.uk/forums/79/163337.html) and it looks like a fair amount of others did as well. Maybe they simply didn't see the sign up thread either?

Trouble is the show is also full now according to my sources.... We've missed the boat this year I'm afraid....

We'll get in early next year though, see if we can do it

Shame. You'd think they would announce that club bookings are full on the socials!

I'll have to see if there's a mixed car club I can tag along with.

The show isn't full yet Jay, plenty of room according to the organisers. Im happy to take over this one as you're away next week? Would be good to get at least a small MR2 group there.
