Afternoon Guys

Let's keep the Japshow chat here......we need ideas and input from you all

Every year we always have a camping spot set out at Santa Pod with a few staple ideas and festivities - Drunken Dodgems being one of the highlights

Just recently we have started doing a communal bbq where food is donated by members and everyone is welcome to join in. This gets everyone together chatting and believe me, no-one goes hungry

Another thing we have started doing as a warm up to JAE is a chilli-challenge. A few of us certainly like to whip up a few culinary delights to share about - this year is no different as I am creating my own hot sauce and delving into the black art of Ghost Chilli Sausages.

I like to see this show as a gentle warm up to JAE - indeed a lot of the guys that make this their first show quite often can't wait for JAE. We are a welcoming bunch and a one nighter is quite often a great way to test the water

although I cant attend, based of previous attendances some form of musical entertainment usually goes well, along with some form of lighting for the marquee for when it gets dark.
also I know abit of work for someone but could do a quiz aswell (some general knowledge and some specific MR2 knowledge too)

Lighting and music are certainly an option but we will need to locate a genny from somewhere. A small one will do. I can provide fairy lights and probably get my hands on a small stereo rig (still no laptop and no space to bring the dj rig)

I'm not going up the strip.... I'm hoping to do it next year once I've got the car where I'm happy that all the worn parts are replaced....

On a side note, I'll try and get a couple of big disposable bbq's to bring along. Biggest problem is that I'm away with the family for a week beforehand so I'm not going to have time to go and see anyone to get any sails

I wont be up the strip this year. I can see Ben taking his tubby up, theres not much point in taking mine up, its only less powerful this time around!

I think they are spread around the country mate. I'm not 100% sure where they are if I'm honest

Tickets have now gone from me (in standard DL envelopes) so should hit the mats by Wednesday

Just as well really as I'm off on holiday for a week from next Saturday

Managed to talk a guy from the IT company we use at work into coming along..... He just happens to have a mk2 as well.... He's now bought his weekend ticket so hopefully we can ease him into the fold

Has anyone had their tickets through yet?
