Must admit mate for your first time up the strip you put in some impressive times,very consistant

Looks like you didn't get the best start on that one shinny or was it a modded scooby?

Not sure what to expect at the start of the day or what the car would be like, but after the first run it was great, came away from the pod very pleased, much better than i expected.

Can't wait till next year.

No - my start sucked

I was having trouble putting the power down so my 60ft times weren't great... 13.81 was the best I achieved tho I was expecting better. Still, my tyres are approaching the legal limit and I couldn't drop the pressure too far to help as I couldn't pump them up again for the 122 miles trip home

Next time better tyres and lower pressures... and probably more agression! That video was my last run of the day and I was just running for fun by then

Oh, and the scooby was a P1... that's all i know about it...

Wouldn't be dissapointed with those times Mark you done well considering it was your first time down the strip

I had a look at the 1/4 mile and dyno tables on IMOC, saw low 13s for roughly the power I should have and, in true Top Gear style, thought "how hard can I be?"

well i did deserve a pic or two after my photos of you at wra2, would do it all over again though i had a great time ! Was good to watch you and shin on the strip you both did really well roll on next year, see you all in a few weeks
