Ive just bought some new alloys same as these - http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp? ... &PT_ID=143 - now I need nuts for them........... me being a bit dim never realised there was so many different types of nuts :confused1:

Could some nice person tell me if these would fit - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT ?

Its not fair having new wheels and not being able to put them on the car :crybaby:

They look like external drive nut being you have to put the socket around the outside of the nut and turn. The clearance on some allows mean that this is not possible.

Safest bet is internal or spline drive nuts.

Also don't forget you need M12 X 1.5 :th:

Have a look at thi sthread from a couple of months back: http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/topic.html?f=59&t=124658

Bascially Ant and I wanted wheel nuts at the same time - he ended up going for chrome open ended spline drive mutekis and I imported some closed end, blue 7 sided nuts from Hong Kong :laughing

If you really want colourful, take a look at these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0547754352 :th:

(Be aware those are not Toyota fitment - if you realyl want them, contact the seller to see if they'll do M12x1.5)

£32.70 delivered for a set of 20, non-hex lightweight nuts - that's rather good ya know ;)
(You have to email the seller to get the quote on 20 rather than 16, hence it's mroe than the auction implies)

You'd spend £55 on a set of sprint nuts (including lockers)... and their blue is more turquoise than the ones I ebay'd: http://www.sprintwheels.co.uk/eshop/sto ... ategory=75
