MR2 Owners Club

Hey Guys,

Having recently taken up the role of Regional Rep for you guys down here, I thought I should firstly introduce myself and secondly try and get an idea of who is who down here.

At present we currently hold monthly meets for all of the South West (Gloucester down really) and I would love to try and get some more of you guys involved.

The plan is that I'll try and arrange some "Mini Meets" for you guys to get you all introduced to each other and then try and get you all involved in our monthly full meets, that are always full of active members and a good place to try and ask questions and get advice as well as a real opportunity to take the "2's" on a good run. I'd guess that trying to hold a meet somewhere near Truro would be a good idea. At least give the more Southern members a chance to participate.
I remember only too well how much time it takes to get out of Cornwall (took me 19 years ).

Newquay/Truro to Exeter is now not too bad with the extra bits of dual carriageway that have been put in. Camborne/Redruth isn't that bad to get to either from Exeter. Come to think of it I've done Minack/StMichaels/Penzance/Lands End a few times recently and that wasn't too bad, but they were fairly early in the morning.

Guess we need to tempt them out. Get the fly posts ready
