Warwick boy here. Whilst Warwickshire is in the 'Midlands' the East Midlands run out is still quite a long way. The MR-S is still relatively new to me and as such has yet to really prove herself on a long run. Hope(would really like) to make it but its not definite now I've seen the route. May have to wait for the next one.
Come on mate, the way to get to grips with it is to take it on a few decent runs. Find all the quirks whilst in convoy and if you do get a snag, you won't find a better place to have it than when got 2's in front and behind you! We got our Roadster in June, picked up from Norfolk, took it to Beaulieu (in a monsoon), Hull (another monsoon), Rutland and various ........ soon learnt what needed looking at from those treks :th:

Come along, best way to learn about the car is to use it. It's amazing what you learn when you are out and about :th:

Your motor looks up to the job, I wouldn't worry about that :th: You won't be the only MK3 in the group and if there are any roadside quirks that need sorting, there are plenty of tools and knowledgable heads there to fix it :th:

I never go on a drive without tools for just in case. I’ll chuck a code reader in with me :th:
