engine hunting on idle

Post by obster » 02/10/13 20:27

Hey guys iv got a rev2 turbo which has started hunting on idle when the engine has warmed up, its causing the revs to drop low enough for the car to judder like its going to stall. I havnt noticed any other driveability issues.

could this be the result of a faulty air flow meter/sensor?

Sounds like Idle valve or Vac leak

had exact same issue on my NA its a vacuum leak. mine was leaking from one of the hoses hasn't happened since I swapped most out for new ones/tightened clips on hoses.

Vac leak, which in turn is messing up the fueling due to the afm. ;)
