Hi,
So yeah first post and all that. 20 year old mid life crisis got a mr2 mk3 as a daily at 6'6 (it works)
But yeah I've been having issues with the engine idling high at 2k rpm when cold, warm its about 1600. WHY?
I also noticed when coasting the rpms bounce from 1300-1900?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like it might be a sticky IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) or related to the IACV.
