Where to buy service parts?
Where do people usually get service bits for their MR2s? I worked out the other day that my Rev 4 N/A had been returning 23.4mpg so think a service may be in order :O
Cambelt isn't due, but I plan on doing pretty much everything else.
Oil/filter
Fuel filter
Clean K&N
Spark plugs
Ignition leads
Distributor?
All my past cars have had distributor-less ignition, so I don't know what I need to renew.
I've looked at camskill and a couple of other places, but they seem very expensive. Is £80 for leads normal??

I always buy my service parts such as fuel/oil filter, dizzy cap etc from mr2-Ben.co.uk and I get my plugs from jp4mance.com hope this helps

Oil filter from Toyota main dealers... it's only a tenner so might as well fit the real deal there

Leads are around £80 from most places. I got my last lot of oil & filter from halfords pretty cheaply.

Yeah I've already got oil and filter from halfords as they were on offer when I was last in there.
£80 leads seems a bit much :O last set I bought were about £20!!
Ill pay it of that's what they cost, but didn't realise they were so much!

Re: Where to buy service parts?
Tcb parts, camskill and the local toyota dealer is who I'd use.
Even with 20% off at the dealer tcb sell some parts cheaper or the same price (for genuine parts obv.)with swift delivery

Re: Where to buy service parts?
For filters its always wise to go down to Toyota for them, you can get genuine ones on ebay too, other than that I usually use importcarparts.com they've helped me out in many of quick dispatches, very reliable made in japan parts too
