Replacing sidelights
Bought some smoked sidelights, haven't looked at the car yet as i'm at work.
Where do you remove them from, inside the frunk? Quick job?
The KB article didn't answer my question lol

Re: Replacing sidelights
Pop the reflector out with a flat head screwdriver, single cross head screwdriver for the light itself. Swap bulbs, job done.

Re: Replacing sidelights
Dead easy job to do bud where the join is you will need a flat bladed instrument to prise the joint apart, when I part of the light is out you will see I screw undo that and the other part will come out undo the connetors reverse the process job done simples took me less than 3 minutes to do both sides

Re: Replacing sidelights
Do you mean pop out the bits in the attached below?
(I thought thats where the sidelights plugged in? Maybe I looked at them too quickly)
I shall try when I get in, don't want to pop out any of the wrong parts and snap them

Re: Replacing sidelights
yes bud where the join is,it will either pop out easy or might take a bit more force depending how good the ball joint is what keeps them togetherN52 wrote:And I'm prizing it out with a flathead from the middle section yeah?

Re: Replacing sidelights
When you pop them back together a spot of grease on the socket will help putting them back together and to get them apart in the future.
New Hubby, New House, New start what more could i want ?
