Re: 10th Anniversary MR2 Register - CHAT - add your car here
Thanks for that, I'll get the details added to the register. 2010 to 2023 is a very long gap in the MOT history, last V5 issued April 2023.
Looks to have been resprayed as well. Having said that it looks very tidy, quite a price though @ £8650

Re: 10th Anniversary MR2 Register - CHAT - add your car here
Following for info only as I don’t have all the evidence…
47 (no details yet only pic of steering wheel) and 176 N952UEC in silver with engine lid badge barely visible and darker stock wheels visible, are being spoken about on Facebook now. 47 is alive and well, 176 has just been hauled out of long term storage with a blown clutch and is going to be sold.
There’s another on there being posted about, number not given but you can see the front badge and matching darker stock wheels N288FET, also alive and well.
Right, back to “dadmin”.

Re: 10th Anniversary MR2 Register - CHAT - add your car here
We have #47 N820 MMW as Silver and was T&T until this year last time I checked.
Nothing at all for #176 so anything you can find would be good
We have N288FET, as #23, Silver, was on SORN last time I checked
Good work Al, keep it up

I’ve suggested the seller register it here so that buyers know it’s authentic

It’s Anni season on Facebook…
New owner just posted N942KAH 179 (blue, dark front badge and wheels visible, steering wheel, ashtray and boot badge claimed). I flagged it here when it was for sale, see prev page.
In the resulting “hellos” we see pics of 003 (blue - extensively modified), 018 (blue, Anni wheels visible), 020 (blue, engine cover badge visible, non-Anni stock wheels, toms scoop, large exhaust), 183 (blue, engine lid badge, steering wheel and Anni wheels visible) and 188 (P889PVM blue).
No pics posted but the self-proclaimed owners of 047 and 230 (both silver) also say hello.

Re: 10th Anniversary MR2 Register - CHAT - add your car here
Hi everyone
My name is Kestas, I am new to this group and first time MR2 owner. I live in Essex close to London.
I recently bought number 131 from Bedford, red caliper specialist Danny. Car is in overall good condition, no rust and not modified at all. The front bumper is resprayed though. For 12 years the car was stored in a heated garage in a car collection (from 2011-2023). He was the fourth owner.
Unfortunately the electric aerial is not working (plastic lifting cable broken). Is it worth trying to hunt for a a genuine one or just get a replacement?
Thanks
Kestas

That's not a good sign, the only real reason for that is breaking it

Re: 10th Anniversary MR2 Register - CHAT - add your car here
Hi I'm the current owner of 188 which I brought from a certain well known mr2 dealer late last year.
As you can imagine the car is a very interesting one to say the least. Made the mistake of trusting someone who I presumed was a long term trusted member of the community as he had a long history of selling mr2s and was bitten badly. Wont be making that mistake again.
The car is currently alive and mechanically well and is going in for some much needed work within the next few months. Not going to be giving up that easily!

Welcome to the club
Sorry to hear that, wouldn't happen have been the red caliper specialist mentioned above would it ?
Good to hear your giving the car some TLC, sounds like it needs it. Start a thread and post some pictures when you get s chance
Whats your location (general area is close enough) and I'll update the register

Yep. See my post with evidential link back in January.

That's me! Current location Bicester, Oxfordshire She's got a wonky lower lip on the front bumper but otherwise is in great condition for 136,000 miles!_Al_ wrote: ↑01/05/23 7:27 It’s Anni season on Facebook…
