Well, Chris, it appears my car has suffered alternator failure for the second time in 7 days!
If I can't (or dont think I can) get it fixed in time, then I'll post my ticket and stand-pass with next day delivery on Thursday to you FOC. If your tickets do arrive then that offer will stand for anyone else who hasn't received their ticket
Of course priority number one is to get my car working in time...
No card through the door today so, as per my action plan, I paid the delivery office a visit. Guy behind the bullet proof glass was very pleasant and disappeared for some time to have a rummage in whatever dustbin they file these things (while several irate customers who DID have cards were kept waiting!) but no joy.
I am trying to remain upbeat but really could do without the added stress right now.

I went down my local sorting office.. who were ver helpful... wait no... I mean very Unhelpful.
They wouldn't look for my letter with out the note .. the woman behind the counter pointed to something like 9 boxes with letters and parcels in them and said "theres no way we would find it in there, theres like 2000 items in there" yes of course there was .
Anyhoo what did Japfest have to say on the issue Karl?
Chris, Pete and Gaz need to be added to the not received list too :(
I'm now very touch and go as to whether I can even collect my ticket from the sorting office. The MR2's alternator issue aside, my BMW is now stuck in the garage for a day or two so I'm a bit immobile! It never rains but it pours, eh?

There is more than one DO in the Reading area. Which one depends on your postcode. Surely you have a mate who could give you a lift thereto? Failing that, the last time I was in Reading the place was chock full of buses...
Of course if your MR2 is hors de combat you probably won't be going anyway...

Well, I know which office, but I'm very low on friends in the area (literally just move here) and I work in Bracknell, so the choices are get the ticket or catch the bus to work. However, if I can get the MR2 working in the next two days, everything will work itself out
