I didnt have any travel plans yet so it would be good to join convoy with you guys.
When heading up to that area i quite often take the A59 -> A65 to join the M6

From Scotch Corner it will be A66, Barnard Castle, Middleton-in-Teesdale to Alston (for lunch)..

Motorways are boring: we use the fun roads.
Only the final 20 miles to Glasgow will be on the M74.

Think i will be heading in the other direction to go towards leeming bar to meet up with Tony and others. If your heading that way aswell then i could meet you first then convoy up there.
