Mr T changed his tune on that one several times, originally it was meant to mean "Midship Runabout, 2 seater" then it was changed in later years and then seemed to change back again :confused1:
Brian Long mentions the change of definition in a couple of his books on the history of the MR2 ;)
It's like the MK1 bonnet emblem (affectionately know as the "Screaming Chicken")

which is meant to to represent "aerodynamic beauty through evolution" a stylised version of that was used for the MK3

I was looking at a mk3 this week (subject of my other thread) for no reason other than the presence of the Screaming Chicken!

If I buy it I may have to change my login for comedy value...
