looking forward to seeing them fitted

Not Plan B again!! Why don't we just go with plan B in the first place?

Thanks everyone that offered their advice! Colour looks slightly yellow to my eyes so may be getting a refurb at some point and the fitment needs a bit of tweaking, but some progress nonetheless.

Looks great! Makes me think about should i change my plans for mine :laughing They do look like they have dulled slightly but mine are RG2 so idk if they changed the colour slightly. still doesn't take away from it looking great, hopefully get a look in person at some point.

Very nice! Personally I like the colour, makes the black of the car look darker. Photos often don’t tell the whole story of course.

I can’t wait till I’m at the wheel upgrade stage on mine, it’s taking an eternity due to work and family stuff. :annoyed:

Not normally a fan of gold wheels, but they go well with Goodwood Green :th:
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

If anyone is interested I went for a set of Kics Leggdura Racing RL53, Amazon.jp were by far the cheapest, delivery was surprisingly cheap. The Goodyear Asymmetric 6 also has a hell of a rim protector! Hopefully get to some meets this year. Now... onto the next job

I used Yahoo auctions and browsed using Zenmarket which translated things into English and made things a bit more simple. When I was ready I then used jessestreeter to place the bid and then get them shipped to me. He tends to be a man of few words and always answered questions promptly and offered advice along the way.

Was it expensive .... yes. Your best bet will be waiting for a set in the UK, but I was impatient and knew what I wanted. To give you an idea, postage was £420 on top of the auction price, internal delivery, tyre removal, commission, so some bargain wheels, soon come out at £1k+ wheels. The JPY to GBP rate is looking a bit better at the minute so that might help you out.

Went for some gold Advan RG1's in 17x7.5+29 and 17x8.5+37

Tyres will be next, either Pilot Sport 4 or Asymmetric 5/6's
Hi, im looking to buy some wheels from Japan, just havent seen any i like lol..

Which website did you buy from? Yahoo auctions or is there any others?

Which company did yiou end up using to import from Japan?

Last time i tried to buy some JDM wheels I used sn importer, they forgot to place the bid, then when they did, their bids were cancelled as fraudulent and i lost out on a set of wheel with perfect mr2 offsets.

Was it expensive importing the wheels, nice in gold I'd say and keep the blue lip with the advan on them, I think they look class and proper JDM.

What were the costs of importing. I'm guessing everything has gone up after covid with shipping costs...

I'm wanting to buy some wheels if they turn up with good offsets from Japan.

My current ones are 8J front etc 35 and 9J rear ET38 on coilovers

Cheers jules
