Re: Spacers
A search on the forums will bring up quite a few topics, there is even a website to work out the sizes.

Re: Spacers
look at your wheel on the car, measure 20mm out from it then see if you are happy with this new position...

Re: Spacers
Ok - to give you any advise we need to know what wheels and tyres you have on... most importantly, the width of the rim (probably somewhere between 6" and 9") and the offset of the wheels. Also, MR2 wheels are staggered (different widths front and back) so if your aftermarket alloys don't take that into account then you'll want to do different thing to the front and the rear axels.MarkR32 wrote:Evening all,
Im wanting to run some hubcentric spacers on the mr2 thinking either 15mm or 20mm and keeping the standard wheels,
has anyone got any input, would 20mm push the wheels outside the arches ??
Cheers

In the mean time, have a read of this - it should help you understand wheel fitment if don't already: http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/59/41923.html
Finally, there's a technical difference between the spacers you'd buy if you wanted 15mm compared to 20mm: http://www.wheels.uk.com/acatalog/wheel ... r2-w2.html
At 15mm you'd buy some system 2 spacers and swap the studs in the hub. (Swapping studs is easier than it sounds provided you have exactly the right studs - I know from experience that the kits in that link do)
At 20mm you'd buy some system 3 spacers out of preference, which bolt onto the hub and then provide new studs to bolt the wheels onto, making it much easier to fit and removes any worry associated with long studs.

Re: Spacers
Anyone got any pics of their car running std 15's with 20mm hubcentric spacers, or similar?
