Re: I need help with my nuts

Post by Tinker2 »

Thanks for the help Shinny, as the TSW's take normal tuner nuts I have a nice shiney new set in the garage :D Earlier in the year, I found that a few of the wheel nuts had rounded slightly on rev1 when I had my BK'S fitted, so I bought a new set of nuts..... then I bought the new wheels which came with new nuts.

Hopefully should be able to get them swapped over ready for JAE, I hope you and Ant manage to get some from somewhere

HI guys.

I am hoping to by a set of wheel nuts at JAE anyways, but I am missing one nut of my rear wheel, if anyone has a spare alloy wheel nut I could have a lend of until i find a set I would appreciate it. The tapered kind, not stock.

See you at JAE :th:

any wheel/tyre shop should be able to sell you one, probably cost £1 if you get desperate ;)

I've decided to go for some open end Mutekis. I need some as my current ones are frankly embarrassing. I'm hoping they'll arrive in time :confused1:

I still don't have them!!

The Mutekis I tried to import form the USA, but they didn't have any in stock either. I'm currently waiting for these 7-sided nuts from Hong Kong: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0473082598

Was following this thread as I was after a new set of nuts for the Advan AVS Model 5's that I bought and am waiting to get powdercoated. Really like the ones that you've bought so had a look for them and they also do them in silver. Will check the sizes against my alloys and if everythings ok will order a set as well. Have you got locking wheel nuts as well and if so were did you get them from?? Just call me a copy cat :D

Saw these on Ebay and they also caught my eye but unfortunately they are open ended. Look very nice
