It does yeah. A little higher than stock so that's about right with breathing mods.
I have an mbc and run approx 0.6 bar first gear, touch more 2nd and 3rd+ I run 0.95 bar

Then I'm happy.

When fitting a mbc, is it just a case of fitting it between the turbo and the actuator or does the actuator need adjusting too?

Leave the actuator itself. Yeah, the mbc fits between the actuator and turbo with the 2nd actuator pipe blocked off. The mbc only fits one way though!
When you get the mbc. Unscrew until the ball and spring rattle then slowly turn in until it stops rattling. Then install it and only turn a little at a time clockwise to increase boost. I'd recommend setting it up in 3rd

I will do that then. Was the maximum safe boost you would recommend?

I've read a bit into fitting and setting up mbc' sand they say never adjust more than one full turn at a time when tuning.

Do you have any links to units that are good for the job?

The mbc gts chris sells are the recommended type.
Full turns maybe first or 2nd time then half turns after that.

Standard ct26? Do you have a fuel cut defender?
1bar is safe on either ct26 or ct20b if everything else is up to scratch.
A mbc will give you more midrange torque bringing boost earlier even before you raise it

Yeah it's a standard ct26 and I do have a fcd, at least I think that's what it is... There a small square black box that seems to be wired into the ecu, I saw it before I knew what a fcd was and haven't looked since.

Which one of these? Obviously I'd rather the apexi but I don't have that kind of money hanging around right now :D
