My mk 3 roadster has been "missing" as in when you put your foot on the accelerater it stutters and then performs properly . Does it in any gear, and sometimes not at all .?
Anyway, the engine management light has now come on. Only thing been done on the car recently is a new rad (needs bleeding i think see my other post) and i had the pre cats removed by my local garage. Proper job and the manifold was properly cleaned out of all the dust.
Any ideas before i take it to the garage ? Cleaned the maff sensor, it was dirty for sure, but not made any difference .

think it is linked to your rad problem - if you have airlock then you will be getting hot spots all over the place as no coolent going round.
