INFO ON 18 INCH TYRES PLEEEZE!
Hey guys, I am trying to decide on what size tyres to purchase: just wanted to know if anyone has fitted or know someone who has fitted 225/35R18 on the front?? What tyres were they and did they clear as they turn? (Bear in mind:I have just fitted TEIN SUPER STREET C/OVERS and the offsets are correct - front 8J rear 9J) Advise/recommendations????
Thanks in advance

http://mr2.gordaen.com/wt_calc.php
using 225 front and 245 rear on 35 profile and gusessing et35 offset these are the results from the site above
personally I would go with 215 fronts, even with these you may get a bit of interfeance with the arches on ET35. you will need to check with the your ET number on the calculator to give you an idea.
MR2 (mkii) Flushness:
Your proposed front wheel will be 0.35 mm farther out than flush (flush offset: 35.35).
Your proposed rear wheel will be 0.35 mm farther out than flush (flush offset: 35.35).
Wheel Comparison:
Your proposed front wheel will stick out 35.4 mm farther than your old wheel.
Your proposed rear wheel will stick out 35.4 mm farther than your old wheel.
Speed Comparison:
Old front tire revolutions per kilometer: 535.
New front tire revolutions per kilometer: 518.
New front tire is at 103KPH (64MPH) when spinning at the old tire's 100KPH (62MPH) RPM.
Old rear tire revolutions per kilometer: 525.
New rear tire revolutions per kilometer: 506.
New rear tire is at 104KPH (65MPH) when spinning at the old tire's 100KPH (62MPH) RPM.

Re: INFO ON 18 INCH TYRES PLEEEZE!
I run 225/35/18 fronts. They will clear the arch easy with ET35 and coillies. With an 8J rim its is recommended to use a 225 section tyre.
