Rev3 Turbo - Charcoal Canister VSV

Post by Nic »

Rev 3 Turbo. Can someone tell me what the actuator/sensor is that is mounted on a bracket off the charcoal canister? Also does anyone have a photo of how it's supposed to be mounted they could post up? The one on mine has been bodged on with a couple of zip ties and I want to put it right.

Um... post a photo of what you mean. Unless you're talking about the charcoal cannister's VSV then you could far too easily be talking about an aftermarket boost solenoid or something like that?

I think it is the VSV for the charcoal canister, it's the rusty looking thing with the blue plug connected to it. Planning on tidying up the engine bay and want to source a replacement with the correct mounting.

Well it's not the turbo wastegate actuator as the thread title suggests, so I'll change that for you :th:
