Steering lock knackered

HI guys.

I've noticed that my steering lock doesn't come on when I take the key out and turn the steering wheel, also the key feels different when you take it out the barrel usually it gives a clunk when you remove the key, how easy is it to remove the barrel from a 93 import rev 2 need to get this sorted before next mot :facepalm: theirs always something that crops up right before an mot :crybaby:

I did a power steering to manual conversion to this car back in the summer and it was working fine then...i take it that wouldn't have anything to do with my problems :confused1:
