What about other make V6's?

Believe it or not a solution similar to that was discussed once by using a double articulated jack shaft to get it around the block but we never saw it through.

The killer on both these engines is that the output hole on the Mr2 diff is covered by engine, there is simply too much distance from crank centre to outer bellhousing so no possible solution (using an Mr2 transmission anyway)
